20th of March

Day 12. Work was continued on the final piece.

Day 11. We began to black in the traced lines that were on the board with acrylic paint,we then began painting in the details.

18th of march

Day 10. We began to work on our final piece by adding a base coat. The image we have chosen was then printed onto acetate and projected onto the board and was traced.

17th of March

Day 9. We began work on our final piece by tearing pieces of cardboard, and began glueing them onto our piece of wood.

Day 8. We began to develop our own images and edited them in photoshop getting them ready for our final piece.

12th of March

Day 7. We began development towards our final piece by experimenting with the cardboard and different mediums on the card, linking with Valery Koshlyakov. We also completed our creative mind map.

11th of March

Day 6. We began development towards our final piece by experimenting on cardboard in the style of Vallery Koshlyakov, we then painted onto the card with different mediums. The Leigh Park Gardens page was also completed.

10th of March

Day 5. We each created a small initial idea to put towards our final idea. we then discussed how big we would like out final piece to be, we decided at 2.4 by 1.2 meters.

6th of March

Day 4, on the fourth day Ella researched into collaborative artists, the two artists that we chose to focus on is JR and Liu Bolin.

5th of March

Day 3: Conor and Ella visited Staunton country park, located in Leigh Park, taking photos of a well known site in the area. These photos are key for our final piece as we will focus on one the images to be the main image in our final piece, these images were then added to a worksheet. The remaining members worked on the artist research sheets, covering Valery Koshlyakov, they also created a small repose to his work with cardboard and acrylic paint.

4th of march

Day 2 consisted of artist research, the two artists that were covered were John Virtue and Ptolemy Dean. the reason we chose to focus on these two artists is because we like the monochromatic style of John Virtue and the architectual element of Ptolemy Deans work.

3rd of March

Day 1 consisted of creating mind maps, which contained ideas towards possible subject matter, surrounding areas which we may consider looking into, and artists influences.
